Golden Light Quilt - The Copper Paper Co. One•
Posted on October 14 2020
I had the pleasure of working with Copper Paper Co. and their new fabric line throughout this quilt release. For this version, I used:
While I I loved all of the fabrics that I got to work with, I was particularly obsessed with the binding! I love a good stripy binding and this just took it to a whole other level!
I made my binding strips just a bit wider so that I could cut two rows of squares at a time and fold down the middle. It allowed this checkered print to become the most beautiful striped binding and finishing touch to this baby quilt!
I really loved the way these two prints contrasted with each other. It isn't a must that you use a solid fabric when creating contrast in your quilts. This showed that off perfectly!
Just look at how the binding turned out!! It was so fun to see it working out like I had planned in my head as I hand stitched it to finish it up.
