National Sew a Jelly Roll Day 2023

I may be a day late in celebrating National Sew a Jelly Roll Day, but I promise I have a good reason! I spent the last week at AQS QuiltWeek in Grand Rapids and just got home late last night. As I flew home, I just couldn’t believe that my life currently involves flying across the country for quilt shows – what a dream! But now, for jelly rolls.

To be honest, I haven’t used these much in the past. But for a pattern I recently found drawn out by my grandma, this was an easy go to and I couldn’t pass up the adorable Owl-O-Ween fabric I found at Missouri Star Quilt Co. (use this link to get 15% off your order!). So I’ll be working on this fun halloween quilt the rest of this month using the jelly roll. Look out for the Margaret quilt coming soon!
