I may be a day late in celebrating National Sew a Jelly Roll Day, but I promise I have a good reason! I spent the last week at AQS QuiltWeek in Grand Rapids and just got home late last night. As I flew home, I just couldn’t believe that my life currently involves flying across the country for quilt shows – what a dream! But now, for jelly rolls.
To be honest, I haven’t used these much in the past. But for a pattern I recently found drawn out by my grandma, this was an easy go to and I couldn’t pass up the adorable Owl-O-Ween fabric I found at Missouri Star Quilt Co. (use this link to get 15% off your order!). So I’ll be working on this fun halloween quilt the rest of this month using the jelly roll. Look out for the Margaret quilt coming soon!

And while I am working on my own Jelly Roll friendly pattern, I know there are a lot of fun ones already out there. Leave your favorite in the comment to inspire others on their next project!
