Holiday Hills – The Polar Magic One
It’s finally here! Over a year in the making and the Holiday Hills Quilt Pattern is finally ready to be released to you all – along with a pillow extension and paint by numbers kit!
From the moment I laid my eyes on Polar Magic by Lemonni for Figo Fabrics, I knew I had to have a Christmas quilt made from it. And even after working on this quilt for an entire, my love for the fabric only continued to grow!
Here’s the fabrics I used:
|Color 1 – Party on CoralColor 2 – Bear TossColor 3 – Bear Presents on TealColor 4 – Ornaments on RedColor 5 – Fa La La Letters on Mint||Color 6 – Trees on TealColor 7 – Kona Cotton EarthBackground – Fa La La Letters on BeigeBacking – Pink Bears n’ Bobbles Binding – Ornaments on Coral|

Thoughts Behind the Quilt
When I made the choice to not release Holiday Hills last fall/winter and step away from my shop all together while I finished up wedding planning and enjoy the current season of life I was in, it did not come easily. I loved this space and I loved designing. I had every intention to come back to it after the wedding, but it was still scary to step away from something I had been so present in for the last year.
When it was ‘time’ for me to come back, I was SO excited. And was full speed ahead… for about 1 week. And then I just didn’t want to. I didn’t have my sewing mojo. And honestly? It was kind of scary to not bounce back in like I had always planned.
And then, it started to come back. I went through some other big changes in my life (read more about that here) and my sewing mojo came back! I sewed without posting about it for a month and knew that this was the time to release Holiday Hills.
So I got to work, contacted my testers, found an amazing tech editor and it was on. I was back and so excited about bringing this pattern to life. It has been a journey and taught me SO MUCH. I hope that you all love it and can’t wait to see your version of the Holiday Hills Quilt Pattern.
