SIGN UP FOR THE SEW ALONG 

I am so excited to be bringing the Scrappy Summer Sew-Along back to y’all for a second time! This year I am teaming up with Wendy from THE.WEEKENDQUILTER and we have so much planned for 7 weeks full of fun! 

We will be working through the FREE Scrappy Summer Quilt that is on my blog so that we can use up some of those scraps we have been stashing for so long. If you are not a fan of two inch squares, check out my blog post Create Your Own Scrappy Quilt. I walk you through the steps to making a quilt with your preferred size of squares.

3. Use the free pattern or choose your square size and create your own.

WEEK 1: Share a photo of your stash and start choosing colors for your quilt.

WEEK 2: Cut your squares for your quilt.

WEEK 3: Make 41 Nine-Patch Blocks

WEEK 4: Make 40 Nine-Patch Blocks

WEEK 5: Make 40 Nine-Patch Blocks

WEEK 6: Catch Up Week

WEEK 7: Put it All Together 

Prize Rules 

To be entered to win any of the prizes, you need to post a photo with the prompt assigned to that week on Instagram. Prompt will be in the weekly newsletter from The Homebody Company, and we will remind you on Instagram. Be sure to tag your photo entry using the official sew along hashtag – #scrappysummersal2020. Your Instagram account must be public for your posts to be seen by me or anyone.

Each giveaway starts once our Monday email goes out and ends on Sunday evening. The winner will be announced on the following Monday’s email, and on The Homebody Company and The Weekend Quilter’s Instagram stories.
